Sunken Smile are a three-piece band from Bristol, UK, blending slow-burning indie, jazz, dream pop and atmospheric rock into something intimate, cinematic and quietly intense.

Formed by Bobby Spender (vocals and guitar) Daniel Lowen-Grey (bass) and Louis Lamb-McPherson (drums), who the band create songs that sit somewhere between late-night jazz clubs, faded photographs and the moments we struggle to put into words.

Built around space, melody and emotional honesty, Sunken Smile favour mood over noise, letting songs unfold gradually and leaving room for listeners to find their own meaning within them.

Based in Bristol and performing across the UK, Sunken Smile announced their debut live show in 2026 and are currently writing and recording new music.
